More about Shakira

Meet our lovely girl Shakira! She came to us as a stray so we have no history on what this girl is like in a home, however we have seen her already blossom on site with us and she loves her known people. Shakira is keen on cuddles, lots of love and affection....and food!

Shakira has struggled adapting to kennel life so will need a home with limited leaving hours that can be gradually increased to build her independence slowly. New owners will need to be prepared to provide her with a solid settling-in period, as well as be patient with her as she learns the ropes. She would like to have her own garden to romp in.

New owners will also need to be confident in dog socialisation and body language to set up Shakira for success in her new home. She has shown both playful and sexual behaviour with other dogs, however shows great response to her handlers for food rewards and is eager to learn some manners as she continues to build up her levels of socialisation.

Shakira is a sweet loving girl who will make any house a home!
